Today, Barbie shared something special—the launch of its first-ever autistic Barbie doll. Created with help from the autistic community, the doll reflects the many ways autistic people experience, understand, and connect with the world. It’s designed to help more children feel seen and included during playtime.
The doll was developed over 18 months in partnership with ASAN, a nonprofit organization led by autistic people and focused on supporting the autistic community. It now joins the Barbie Fashionistas line, which celebrates diversity with dolls of different skin tones, hair textures, body types, and a range of medical conditions and disabilities.
